[vc_custom_heading text=”Electroretinography (ERG)” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”m-b-md”][vc_column_text el_class=”lead”]Electroretinography (ERG) is a diagnostic method that detects and measures the electrical activity created in special photosensitive retinal cells, which occurs in response to a light stimulus.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”1576″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”m-b-sm”]This diagnostic method is extremely important for patients who have lost their vision, or have impaired day or night vision, or the examination of the eye has not determined any cause for loss or impaired vision. The ERG finding can then help us in the diagnosis, and thus in the choosing correct therapy.
