The tonometer is an electronic device equipped with a pressure sensor, which accurately assesses the intraocular pressure in many types of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters, house mice, ferrets and rats.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”1247″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” label=””][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”m-b-sm”]Elevated intraocular pressure can cause rapid damage to the back of the eye and lead to complete blindness within 12 hours of onset.
